As a senior lay-activist and representative on key committees, Gawain is a passionate and hugely capable trade unionist driven by his determination to deliver for members. With a proven track record in organising workplace power, and grass roots campaigns, alongside his role as Chair of the International Solidarity Organising Forum, Gawain demonstrates his commitment to the ideals that sit at the heart of our union: equality, justice, compassion and inclusion. Gawain possesses the energy, leadership skills, expertise and vision necessary to be a dynamic Deputy General Secretary of NEU.
